TOPAA is a discussion group focusing on the education of Texas children with special needs. It is designed to be a safe venue where we can share our experiences, provide advice and offer education to each other. Membership is by application only and limited to parents & legal guardians of children with special needs, especially those who are being educated under IDEA and Section 504, as well as the attorneys and advocates who represent them. Exceptions are made on an individual basis by our membership committee.

The TOPAA-AA (Attorneys & Advocates) list-serve is a discussion group focusing on the state and federal laws regulating the education and related services of Texas children with special needs. This list-serve is designed to be a safe venue where we can share our experiences to, provide advice, and offer education to each other. Membership to this professional list-serve is by application only and limited to attorneys and advocates operating in the state of Texas.
